As I sit here on my chair,
Thinking of you, your fluffy grey hair.
Your wrinkly face, and your translucent skin,
A smile that could forgive a thousands sins.
Hands so soft, they put me at ease,
And words as gentle, as a summer breeze.
Our hearts and body’s are miles apart,
But I can feel you fighting, deep in my heart.
Your voice reassures me,
your words are so kind,
remiscent of memories, we left behind.
Someday we’ll meet, again, sometime soon,
and until then, I’ll be thinking of you.
We don’t know where, or when it will be,
But life starts again, when you are back with me.
For my grandma, I love you and miss you more than you will ever know!
