I’ve started off extra positive this year. I aimed to edit a chapter of my book each month, I’ve managed 7. But don’t get me wrong – I haven’t picked my laptop up for over a week. I’ve got a lot going on at the minute and writing isn’t bringing joy and I don’t want to spoil it. I’m sure after next week I will be back to my usual self!
Anyway. I have read 4 books already – I finished planetfall – I have since read the first Witcher book, then “good vibes, good life” by Vex King, and now onto Mythos, from the wonderful Stephen Fry. I am really enjoying using auditable at the minute – driving to work is less tedious when I have a good book to listen too, and I feel like it makes me more productive too.
February is going to be ok, I need to get reading my self editing books, as once this editing session is complete I will be going through each chapter again and refining it. This book has been 3 years in the making so I am certainly in no rush to get it out there, I want it to be as close to perfect as it can be. Before it hopefully gets snapped up and a professional editor laughs at my attempts!
Either way, 2020 is starting good. Slow, but good.
Also, I’ve just watched a movie called Skin staring Jamie Bell. What a wonderful movie about a really incredible true story.
Speak soon.
